Agreed. It sucks to lose a guy like Andy, but you can’t be disappointed in the Riders. They supposedly offered him more so I’d assume it was more about playing close to home. Just think of Ruttier in Edmonton or LaBatte in Saskatchewan.

Can’t blame him, should’ve got the deal done before Free Agency.

I am utterly dissapointed that the Riders didn’t offer Fantuz what he wanted in order for him to remain a Rider. He meant a lot to Ridernation (Ridernation helped make him who he is today) and will be missed. Of coarse I wish him all the best, will be a fan for life. However, I think Rider fans need to remember that we still have Weston Dressler and Rob Bagg (granted Rob doesn’t injure himself before the season starts again). We still have some remarkable players in SK and hopefully with the new additions, we’ll get the boost we need to make this an amazing season!!!
